Pelican Electric Truck Returns to RTX 2026

04/06/2026

Pelican Electric Trucks is returning to the Road Transport Expo this year, where visitors can meet the team and discover how we’re helping fleets transition to zero-emission transport. Taking centre stage at our stand in Hall 3, Stand N39, will be the Yutong TE7, our fully electric 7.5-tonne truck, which combines Proven technology and a class-leading range

Pelican Electric Trucks helps UK operators transition to zero-emission transport, backed by over a century of commercial vehicle experience. The Yutong TE7 is a 7.5-tonne electric truck offering up to 180 miles of range, built on technology already proven across more than 1,000 vehicles operating in the UK and supported by Pelican Engineering’s dedicated aftersales team.

Interest in the TE7 continues to grow following a series of successful customer demonstrations and trials, including with major bakery manufacturer Warburtons, as fleets seek practical and reliable solutions to support decarbonisation.

The TE7 is equipped with a high-power electric motor delivering up to 200kW of peak power and 470Nm of maximum torque. It features an integrated battery pack centrally mounted within the chassis and a compact seven-in-one motor controller located beneath the cab. Customers can choose between 100kWh and 132kWh battery options, with the larger battery providing a range of up to 180 miles.

Now available in 3,360mm, 3,850mm and 4,500mm wheelbase configurations, the TE7 offers even greater flexibility across a wide range of distribution and specialist applications. The 3,850mm wheelbase chassis-cab fitted with the 100kWh battery has a class-leading unladen weight of just 3,060kg, helping to maximise payload capacity.

Visitors can also hear from David Watts, Sales Manager at Pelican Electric Trucks, who will be speaking on the Talking Point stage during the show. Further details of his session will be announced soon.

We look forward to welcoming you to Stand N39 in Hall 3 at RTX from 30 June–2 July.
