Fuelling your vehicle looks a little different in the electric world – and planning how, when and where you charge your truck is a key part of your operation.
Charging your Yutong TE7 Electric Truck couldn’t be easier as it comes with the Combined Charging System (CCS) fitted as standard so that you have both AC and DC charging options available.
DC charging is considered to be the safest and easiest way to charge the truck, DC charging offers greater fleet flexibility particularly when incorporated into a distributed power solution.
The 11kW AC charging socket is perfect for slower, overnight charging and will fully charge the TE7 (0 – 100%) with a 100kWh battery in 9 hours 36 minutes and with the 132kWh battery in 12 hours 48 minutes.
The 100kWh battery can be charged (20-80%) in around 40 minutes on a 100kW charger whereas the 132kWh battery will take around 50 minutes, on a 150kW charger this will drop to around 40 minutes (20-80%).
The charging socket can be specified to be on either the near side or the offside or both sides behind the cab.
